Info
Barenaked Ladies bring their harmony-rich alt-pop and folk-laced rock to O2 Academy Bristol on 3 December 2026. Formed in 1988 in Scarborough near Toronto, the band forged a style built on rapid-fire lyrics, wry storytelling and vocal blends that glide over bright guitars and keys. Today the lineup is Ed Robertson, Jim Creeggan, Kevin Hearn and Tyler Stewart, a quartet that has carried the catalogue forward since 2009.
Their route runs from early indie tapes to Gordon in 1992, then to the broader reach of Stunt and Maroon, followed by a steady sequence of albums: Everything to Everyone, Barenaked Ladies Are Me and Are Men, All in Good Time, Grinning Streak, Silverball, Fake Nudes and Detour de Force. They also signed the theme for the series The Big Bang Theory, a track that took their sound well beyond the usual circuits.
On stage, the group moves between acoustic textures and plugged-in energy, trading voices and reshaping older cuts alongside newer material, always anchored by close harmonies. In Bristol, they arrive with three decades of songs and an approach where writing, rhythm and keys-guitar interplay drive the show.
