Yaelokre

On 20 October 2026 at Dynamo Werk 21 in Zurich, Yaelokre brings their own narrative universe to the stage. Behind the name is Keath Ósk, with roots in Reykjavík and the Philippines. The songs span the space between acoustic folk tradition, Original Pilipino Music (OPM) influences and motifs from fable and fairy tale. At the center are the voice, spare melodies and pared-back arrangements; each track opens a new chapter.

Since 2024 a world called Meadowlark has been growing around Yaelokre: songs, illustrations and a stage work in which masked figures answer one another. The debut EP Hayfields was released in 2024, with "Harpy Hare" as a track that circulated online. It was followed by Songs of Origin (2024) and Origins (2025), releases that further illuminate the characters' perspectives.

Live, Yaelokre often appears in costumes and masks, sometimes solo, sometimes with a band. The focus is on concentrated storytelling and intimate moods that combine folk with a contemporary pop sensibility. An evening between Reykjavík and Manila, carried by a clear voice and images that linger long after.
