Life are an alternative four-piece from Hull, independent and driven by a DIY ethos rooted in community. Known for intimate live shows, they have built a following across the UK and Europe.
Their fourth album, Abstract / Natural, fuses folklore, myth and landscape into themes of escapism and journey. It is experimental and story-rich.
The band have released three previous albums: Popular Music (2017), A Picture of Good Health (2019), and North East Coastal Town (2022).
Life have toured across the UK and Europe and played showcases in the US. The band have supported Idles and Nadine Shah on tours and have played at festivals such as Glastonbury, All Points East, Krankenhaus, Reading & Leeds, Latitude, Pukkelpop, Best Kept Secret, Paleo Festival, SXSW and Reeperbahn.
