h3nce

Berlin-based h3nce brings a hybrid indie rock language to The Lower Third in London on 11 September 2026. Active since the early 2020s digital underground, this self-taught multi-instrumentalist writes and records at home in a fully DIY process that leaves room for experimentation. The project threads indie rock, post-punk, shoegaze and grunge with raw electronics fed by alternative rap and noise, under a streak of nostalgia. Saturated guitars, blurred textures and melodic hooks coexist, as heard since the single VICTIM TO MY BRAIN on Broke Records, which set the tone for this mix. Across a run of releases, h3nce has honed introspective atmospheres, a frontal vocal presence and simple song forms warped by sound treatment.

On stage, the project steps out of its online origins into a direct, physical set. The music moves between distorted riffs, foggy layers and brittle pulses, with the voice cutting through. Tracks are reworked for performance, pushing the tension between noise and melody without losing the song core. After dates in rooms like Supersonic in Paris, this London show carries the same energy and contrasts, translated into a concentrated, DIY live moment.
