Max Fry

Based in Orlando, Florida, Max Fry is developing a project at the crossroads of indie, alternative pop, and songwriter-driven writing propelled by a hazy and melancholic production. A consummate artist, he also works as a producer, songwriter, and mixing engineer, which comes through in tracks built around intimate vocal textures, immersive textures, and clearly defined refrains, while staying within an introspective register. Max Fry first circulated his tracks online before releasing the EP So Close to OK in 2023, followed by the album More Than Dead to Me, also released in 2023, a record that anchors his universe more firmly in his Floridian surroundings. His aesthetic blends discreet guitars, light electronics, and dynamic alternative pop, with a marked taste for hushed atmospheres and emotional contrasts. In the wake of More Than Dead to Me, Max Fry toured the United States and Europe alongside Thxsomuch, broadening his presence on stages tied to new indie and alternative sensibilities.
