Weatherday plays The Adrian Flux Waterfront in Norwich on 21 May 2026. The solo project of Swedish artist Lola (also known as Sputnik) grew out of the online DIY scene, shaping a bedroom-born blend of indie rock, lo-fi, emo and shoegaze. Songs stretch and pivot, built from layered guitars, saturated textures, jagged drums and a voice often filtered at the edges. Fragile melodies sit next to noisier passages, with non-linear structures and abrupt transitions that keep the flow shifting rather than straightforward. The self-produced album Come In (2019) set the tone, while the 2022 collaboration Weatherglow with Asian Glow pushed the sound toward a denser, near post-rock feel. Imperfections are part of the language here, grounding Weatherday’s writing in a hands-on, home-recorded approach that carries over to the stage with raw detail and sudden changes of pace.

Flat Venus joins as support, opening the night with a set that frames the contours of Weatherday’s world before the main act steps in at The Adrian Flux Waterfront.
