Pikkujoulut: Popeda, Dingo, Leavings Orkesteri Solistina Timo Rautiainen

Pikkujoulut lands at Hybridiarena Hype, Espoo, on 7 November 2026 with a three-act lineup: Popeda, Dingo and Leavings Orkesteri with Timo Rautiainen.

Popeda, born in Tampere in 1977, has written a long chapter of Finnish-language rock, moving from boogie and new-wave bite to the melodic hard rock and suomirock of the early 80s. Built on stage craft and singable refrains, the group found a lasting guitar signature with Costello Hautamäki in 1982 and keeps the flame today with vocalist Olli Herman alongside Costello, Alex Hautamäki, Pate Kivinen and Lacu Lahtinen.

Dingo brings back the pop-rock pulse that coloured the Finnish charts in the 80s, with sharp choruses and a direct, unvarnished sound made for collective sing-alongs.

Leavings Orkesteri appears with Timo Rautiainen as soloist, adding a grain and weight that fit the band’s bittersweet edge. Together, these three pillars of Finnish rock span decades and moods, shaping a pikkujoulut night of familiar melodies, crunchy guitars and stories sung in unison at Hybridiarena Hype in Espoo.
