Nathan Carter

On 27 November 2026 at SEC Armadillo in Glasgow, Nathan Carter brings his blend of country and Irish folk to the stage. Born in Liverpool to a Northern Irish family and based in Ireland since he was 18, he’s a singer as well as an accordionist, guitarist and pianist. His live set draws on steady melodies, acoustic drive and accordion lifts, moving between ballads, uptempo tunes and Celtic-tinged numbers, with that “country and Irish” thread running through it all.

Since Starting Out in 2007, Carter has built a solid catalogue: The Way You Love Me (2010), Time of My Life (2011) and his version of Wagon Wheel on the 2012 album of the same name, which widened his audience. He followed with Where I Wanna Be (2013), Beautiful Life (2015), Stayin’ Up All Night (2016), Livin’ the Dream (2017), Irish Heartland (2019), Little Old Town (2021), The Morning After (2022) and Music Man (2023). On stage, he focuses on warm vocals, classic country covers and Celtic touches, a format refined across TV performances on TG4, RTÉ, BBC and PBS.
