Australian singer-songwriter Stu Larsen brings his quietly powerful folk to The Bodega Nottingham on 6 November 2026. Rooted in acoustic guitar and a plainspoken voice, his songs trace years of life on the road, where small encounters turn into stories and melodies. Since his self-released EP The Black Tree in 2010, Larsen has travelled light and written close to the bone. Vagabond (2014) framed his postcards from elsewhere; Resolute (2017) leaned into themes of movement, attachment and return; Marigold (2020) pared everything down to let words and tunes breathe. On stage, he often performs solo, letting space do the work, and occasionally revisits collaborations that have marked his path, from tours with Passenger to harmonica dialogues with Natsuki Kurai.
