Brudenell Presents...
Ulrika Spacek is a British experimental rock band from London, combining jagged guitar textures and atmospheric elements. Since emerging from an East London house known as "KEN," the band has remained self-contained. Formed in 2014 by Rhys Edwards and Rhys Williams, the lineup includes Joseph Stone, Callum Brown, Syd Kemp and Rhys Jenkins. Debut album The Album Paranoia (2016) introduced off-kilter melodies and drones, followed by Modern English Decoration (2017), a second LP that pushed their sound into more refined and textural territory. After a period of near-silence, they returned in 2024 with Compact Trauma, featuring guitars, loops and elliptical lyrics. With emphasis on sonic experimentation, visual art and live performances, the band make records in a private, self-directed way.
