Marmozets land at Roadmender, Northampton, on 6 June 2026. Formed in 2007 in Bingley, this five-piece has carved a sound that threads math rock sharpness, post-hardcore bite and alt-rock hooks. Built around two sets of siblings, they first made their mark with early DIY EPs before stepping up with The Weird and Wonderful Marmozets (2014), then Knowing What You Know Now (2018). After a pause, they picked things up again mid-2020s and open a new chapter with the announcement of Co.War.Dice. for 2026. On stage, Marmozets lean into angular riffs, sudden tempo shifts and vocal lines that move from abrasive tension to more direct choruses. Their sets swing between tightly wound passages and wider, punchy refrains, tapping into the band’s knack for push-and-pull dynamics. Between older cuts and fresh material, this show traces their path from raw beginnings to a sharper edge without losing that restless pulse.
