The Darkness land at Brighton Centre on 15 December 2026 with the glam-laced hard rock that made their name. Formed by brothers Justin and Dan Hawkins with bassist Frankie Poullain and drummer Rufus Taylor, the band leans into twin-guitar harmonies, tight grooves and Justin’s elastic falsetto. The show taps into Permission to Land with I Believe in a Thing Called Love and Love Is Only a Feeling, and brings in later cuts from Motorheart and Dreams on Toast. On stage, they trade sharp riffs, stacked choruses and playful theatrics, keeping the energy up while letting the melodies carry. Two decades on, The Darkness balance precision and mischief, moving from hard-charging rockers to slow-burn ballads without losing pace. Brighton gets a set built for sing-alongs and guitar breaks, shaped by a group that turns a hall into a loud, communal show.
