Info
We link in with I. Jordan and Byron Yeates on 18 July for a B2B.
Expect a delivery of deep digs and genre-fluid blends throughout. Support comes from local Darkmavis.
I. Jordan is an influence in UK dance music culture. Since their debut release in 2019, the Doncaster-born, London-based DJ and producer has developed rave-infused house and techno steeped in Northern culture. They are known for a brand of euphoric house. Jordan gained international recognition with their debut album I Am Jordan, chosen as one of BBC 6 Music’s albums of the year in 2024. I. Jordan sees art and activism as connected, promoting queer empowerment and supporting marginalized communities through workshops, productions and shows. Most recently, their music explores emotional expression and questions society’s ideas of how they should exist in the world.
Byron Yeates is a Berlin-based DJ and producer, founder of the record label Radiant Records, and co-founder of La Noche. He has played at Panorama Bar, Nowadays and Horoom and holds a bimonthly residency at Berlin’s Refuge Radio. Yeates’ sets can be playful and sincere, a duality linked to the queer lineage of electronic dance music in which he places himself. Since November 2019, his label Radiant Records has released EPs by artists locally and abroad. The catalogue features tracks for the dancefloor that also reward close listening, with unexpected timbres and textures, melodic lines and rhythms that move beyond straight 4/4.
Darkmavis is a Dublin-based DJ focused on trance and progressive, with slivers of techno, hard house and other curveballs. His sound juxtaposes eras in rave culture, weaving together old-school and contemporary takes on electronic music within his sets.
