Shingo Nakamura

On June 11, 2026 at Aera in Toronto, Shingo Nakamura leads the night with his melodic progressive house. Based in Tokyo and originally from Ibaraki, he blends luminous pads, deep grooves and clear piano lines, somewhere between progressive and deep house. A mainstay of Silk since 2009, now Monstercat Silk, he has built a steady catalog with Sapporo (2011), Days (2014) and Glow (2021), then the Solace EP in 2024. Behind the decks he favors long builds, clean harmonies and a smooth flow, turning detail into motion.

OTR (This Never Happened, Astralwerks) is Ohio-born producer Ryan Chadwick. His debut album Lost at Midnight set the tone for a melodic club sound first shaped during a stint in Japan, where train rides and self-taught sessions on a small keyboard turned isolation into ideas. On stage he threads indie-leaning textures, roomy synths and crisp rhythms. His sets shift from piano-led swells to more propulsive moments, always guided by melody.
