Shingo Nakamura

Born in Mito, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, Shingo Nakamura began developing his musical activity from 2004 and officially debuted in 2008 on the Japanese label Sevensenses Recordings. From 2009 he moved onto a more international circuit by joining Silk Music and later releasing on labels such as Otographic Music, Anjunadeep, Armada Music and Monstercat Silk. His work sits within melodic, precise and atmospheric progressive house, with tracks built around flowing pads, piano lines and a steady energy that also brings him close to deep house. This identity is reflected on the albums Sapporo (2011), Days (2014) and Glow (2021). Alongside his solo releases, Shingo Nakamura also worked as a composer and arranger for Funky Monkey Babys in the early 2010s. Between production and DJ activity, he has built a consistent career at the crossroads of the Japanese electronic scene and the international progressive house networks.
