Bears In Trees

On 31 May 2026 at The Academy in Dublin, Bears in Trees bring their South London DIY spirit to the stage. Formed in 2014, the quartet shares writing and vocals, giving their indie rock and emo-pop a collective feel: direct guitars, catchy melodies and lyrics that chart the messy rush of coming of age. From early self-released tracks and the debut Just Five More Minutes (2017) to the EPs I See Blue (2019), I Want to Feel Chaotic and Keep Me Safe (2020), then the double single Flower Through Concrete (2021), the band shaped a catalogue that led to and everybody else smiled back in 2021. After a spell with Counter Intuitive Records, they kept things independent and took their songs across the UK, Europe and North America, sharing bills with Just Friends, NOAHFINNCE and You Me at Six. In 2024, they returned with How to Build an Ocean: Instructions; on stage, those newer tracks sit alongside earlier cuts for a set built on tight hooks, rough edges and a candid, diary-like tone.
