Info
Yung Pepp arrives in Berlin on October 23, 2026 with 'Die große kleine Tour 2026' at Modus and brings the Leipzig perspective on everyday life and the neighborhood directly to the stage. His tracks do not hinge on grand gestures, but on concrete images: a Bolzplatz (a street football pitch), Plattenbau (prefabricated apartment blocks), small paths through Plagwitz, this feeling between coming-of-age story and diary page. Musically, he operates within German indie rap, melodic yet still straightforward in its storytelling.
Live, this should work especially well, because the songs rely on clear lines and catchy refrains, without cluttering everything. In the productions, rap, pop and lo-fi textures shimmer through, light and unobtrusive, so that the lyrics stay at the forefront. Those who like coming-of-age material that is approachable and not polished will get on that evening a show built more from observations and emotions than from pose.
