Info
Between reggae, urban pop, soul and a touch of dancehall, Wafande has been shaping a Danish sound that links Denmark, France and Africa. His Danish-language songs lean on supple rhythms, memorable refrains and reggae phrasing. On October 14, 2026 at TRAIN in Aarhus, Denmark, he brings that blend to the stage, moving from laid-back skank to smooth R&B shades and bass-driven bounce.
He first broke through with Gi' Mig Et Smil in 2011, then followed with En Anden and Uartig, where melody locks in with groove. The album Nyt Land (2014) tightened the balance between songcraft, Caribbean inflections and contemporary production. In 2015 he released the EP Grand Danois and launched Black Dylan with producer Nuplex, expanding the palette while keeping reggae, soul and urban textures central.
Live, this path turns into a set that threads early singles with later material and Black Dylan-tinged soul, carried by warm vocals, fluid phrasing and crisp beats. A clear snapshot of Wafande’s range, right on stage at TRAIN.
