Black Sea Dahu bring their understated indie folk to Dabadaba in Donostia / San Sebastián on 21 April 2026. Led by Zurich singer-songwriter Janine Cathrein, the band works like a close-knit collective, building songs around her deep voice, delicate guitars, spare percussion and muted strings. After White Creatures and I Am My Mother, they tour Everything, an album released on 20.02.2026 that looks straight at loss and change while holding on to hope. The new set leans into slow-burning melodies, layered harmonies and a wider palette that brushes against chamber pop and art rock without losing the intimacy at the core of their writing.
On stage, the group shifts between stripped-down moments and fuller arrangements, letting the dynamics breathe and the lyrics take the lead. It’s music shaped to connect more than impress, with a clarity that stays once the last chord fades. Mel D joins the bill.
