El Último De La Fila

El Último de la FFila will perform in Valencia on July 9, 2026, at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia. The Barcelona duo of Manolo García and Quimi Portet, formed after their time in Los Rápidos and Los Burros, bring to the stage their distinctive blend of pop rock with new wave touches, Mediterranean accents and echoes of rumba and flamenco. García’s highly recognizable voice and Portet’s guitars underpin lyrics that look at everyday life with an introspective slant—direct and without gratuitous ornamentation.

On stage, the program runs through songs born on their key records: from the debut Cuando la pobreza entra por la puerta, el amor salta por la ventana (When Poverty Comes in Through the Door, Love Jumps Out the Window) and the drive of Enemigos de lo ajeno (Enemies of the Other’s Property), to the solidity of Como la cabeza al sombrero (Like the Head to the Hat), Nuevo pequeño catálogo de seres y estares (New Little Catalogue of Beings and States) and Astronomía razonable (Reasonable Astronomy), up to the more elaborated textures of La rebelión de los hombres rana (The Rebellion of the Frog Men). A repertoire that grew in the ’80s and sharpened its form in the ’90s, revisited today by two musicians who know their own language and make it work on stage.
