On April 17, 2026, at the Dancing in Sète, Flox returns with Thing in Itself, his new album inspired by the thought of Emmanuel Kant. For more than twenty years he has blended roots reggae with electronic textures to create a hybrid, precise sound. This project questions how we view the world, the element of mystery and the bonds between people. Live, rolling basslines, delay and synth pads intertwine, between measured vocals and dub pulses.
Alongside him, Youthie, multi-instrumentalist and composer, presents an organic dub that is open to the world. Brass, flutes and percussion meet roots riddims and itinerant influences, between reggae, dub stepper and world music. A set that favors a balance between acoustic arrangements and electronics, for an immersive and collective progression.
