Neg'Marrons

Neg’ Marrons will celebrate its 30th anniversary on December 5, 2026 at Le Silex in Auxerre. Hailing from Garges-lès-Gonesse, the duo of Jacky and Ben-J has established a distinctive blend of reggae, rap and dancehall within French hip‑hop. Having come through the Secteur Ä universe, they have shaped a repertoire in which neighborhood chronicles, sung refrains and Caribbean pulses answer one another. Live, the machinery is well‑oiled: measured flows, French, Creole and slang interweaving, round basslines and riddims that carry the room effortlessly.

This anniversary date promises a genuine journey through their discography, from the early Rue Case Nègres to anthems like Le Bilan and Tout le monde debout, via Les Liens sacrés, and not forgetting the more introspective tracks that have punctuated their path. Thirty years on, Neg’ Marrons stays the course: collective energy, a spirit of freedom, a sense of sharing and positive vibrations. An opening act will kick off the evening.
