Info

On 17 May 2026 Clinton Kane will perform at Melkweg in Amsterdam. The Filipino‑Norwegian‑Australian singer‑songwriter developed his sound between Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States, blending pop, folk and melodic rock. He began in the mid‑2010s on YouTube with guitar and piano covers, and soon shifted to original songs that focus on vulnerability, family, faith and fractures in relationships. In the late 2010s he signed with Columbia Records; his EP this is what it feels like (2019) set the tone with spare arrangements, intimate ballads and striking vocal dynamics. In 2021, Chicken Tendies and I Guess I’m in Love gave his reach an extra boost, followed by the debut album Maybe Someday It’ll All Be OK (2022), in which he crafts emotional pop that moves between direct confessions and choruses that linger. On stage he ranges from solo acoustic performances to a compact band configuration; at Melkweg he will present a set drawing on the EP, the album and his singles, with voice, guitar and piano at the centre.
