Info
Tide Lines bring their sound from the Scottish Highlands to Leipzig: on April 18, 2026 at the Neues Schauspiel Leipzig. The quartet led by singer and guitarist Robert Robertson — with Alasdair Turner, Ross Wilson and Fergus Munro — has for years blended rock with melodic pop and influences from the Celtic heritage. Their fourth album, Glasgow Love Story, was released in 2025 on their own label and climbed to No. 1 in Scotland and No. 11 on the UK album charts.
They continue to record and rehearse in a converted church on the Isle of Mull. This Hebridean setting shapes the songs: wide open spaces, weather and the drama of the Highlands flow into guitars, keyboards and drums, without losing sight of direct melodies. Lyrics in English, with occasional Gaelic touches, revolve around origins, memory, travel and the cohesion of small communities.
On stage, Tide Lines favour clear arrangements and closeness to the audience: music that is rooted in a specific place yet reaches everywhere. In Leipzig they will draw on material from four albums — from Dreams We Never Lost via Eye of the Storm and An Ocean Full of Islands to the current Glasgow Love Story.
