Astral Bakers - Germany Tour 2026

Astral Bakers will bring their stripped-back indie songs to the Molotow in Hamburg on 24 April 2026. The quartet formed in Paris and brings together four musicians who have crossed paths for years through touring and studio work: Sage (Revolver, producer), Theodora, Nico Lockhart and Zoé Hochberg. Their songs emerge from soft guitars, simple grooves and tight harmonies, mostly sung in English. Sonically, they sit between acoustic rock and gentle grunge — somewhere halfway between Big Thief, Supertramp and a Nirvana Unplugged.

All four have previously worked with artists such as Clara Luciani, November Ultra, Woodkid and Pomme; with Astral Bakers, however, they pursue a different direction: less ornamentation, more presence. The band cultivates an aesthetic of intimacy, with slow arcs of tension, room for silence and a knack for ballads, as heard on their debut album The Whole Story (2024). Their indie rock is melodic, deliberately pared-back and places the emphasis on voices and subtle textures.

Live, their focus is on presence, an acceptance of imperfection and a shared breathing in the room. Not a storm of effects, but concentrated interplay that makes the passing of time audible. A set that sharpens their songs and serves as a reminder: music is an art of presence.
