Info
femtanyl brings the Man Bites Dog Tour to Hole⁴⁴ in Berlin on 15 June 2026. The project from Toronto, active as a duo since 2025 with drummer Juno Callender, positions its sound between digital hardcore, breakcore and industrial textures — with choruses that edge close to pop without blunting the roughness. On stage, Callender’s live drums amplify the physical, percussive side of the material and push the tracks into a hybrid of club, noise and punk energy.
Following the first EP Chaser (2023) and Reactor (2024) — which features Danny Brown — the debut album Man Bites Dog was self-released in February 2026. The new songs tighten the duo’s signature: fragmented breaks, harsh sonic surfaces, and melodies that suddenly emerge and then collapse again. Inspirations range from Nine Inch Nails, Throbbing Gristle and The Prodigy to contemporary club music and the off-kilter melodicism of Drain Gang. The live set also includes a striking visual vocabulary centered on the cat figure Token, whose distorted appearance shapes the stage design. An evening for anyone wanting to experience radical rhythms and gripping hooks in a single set — compact, loud and direct in Berlin.
