Info
On 21 June 2026 femtanyl brings the Man Bites Dog tour to Cologne, to Club Bahnhof Ehrenfeld. The project from Toronto moves between digital hardcore, breakcore and industrial influences: chopped rhythms, sharp-edged textures and hooks that repeatedly push to the foreground. Since 2025 femtanyl has been a duo: the producer at the machines, Juno Callender on drums. Live, Callender’s acoustic kit provides a physical thrust and precise accents that give the electronic tracks a raw, percussive layer.
On stage, new pieces from the debut album Man Bites Dog (February 2026) sit alongside material from the EPs Chaser (2023) and Reactor (2024). The sound draws on models such as Nine Inch Nails, Throbbing Gristle, The Prodigy and Drain Gang, weaving them into a contemporary club aesthetic. Alongside the punchy sound, the project’s visual universe also plays a role, centered on the cat figure Token, whose appearance is repeatedly fractured and distorted. A set of hard eruptions, brief respites and melodies that slice through the noise.
