On May 7, 2026 at Double Dragon in Edmonton, Daniel Romano steps in with special guests for a set that moves across the map he’s been drawing since the late 2000s. Raised in Welland, Ontario and first heard in the punk/indie band Attack in Black, Romano shifted to solo work shaped by classic country and americana, with records like Workin' for the Music Man, Sleep Beneath the Willow, Come Cry With Me, If I've Only One Time Askin' and Mosey. From Modern Pressure and Finally Free onward, his songs lean into denser rock, 60s pop shades and narrative writing.

Live, Romano often fronts Daniel Romano’s Outfit, a tight unit where guitar-driven rock, electric folk and light psych textures share space. That energy has fed a prolific streak through How Ill Thy World Is Ordered, Content to Point the Way, Cobra Poems and La Luna. He also keeps a garage-punk outlet with Ancient Shapes, a clue to the rawer edges that can surface on stage.
