The Guess Who rolls into Rogers Place in Edmonton on June 11, 2026 with the Takin’ It Back Tour. Born in Winnipeg in the early 60s, the band built a rock language that blends pop and blues roots with late-60s psychedelic touches and a harder edge. Across albums like Wheatfield Soul, Canned Wheat, American Woman and Share the Land, they shaped songs that move between tight, melodic hooks and weightier riffs, carried by clear vocals and straightforward writing. On stage, that mix leans on guitar lines up front, keys that color the groove, and a rhythm section that keeps everything grounded.
Also performing, guitarist and songwriter Don Felder traces a route from Florida’s local scene to Los Angeles studios and his years with Eagles. He co-composed the framework of Hotel California and developed a style that weaves electric bite, slide playing and twin-guitar harmonies. Beyond his work with major pop and rock artists, he continues a solo path with albums like Airborne, Road to Forever and American Rock ’n’ Roll, staying close to melodic rock where the guitar and the song lead the way.
