Chuck Ragan brings his folk-punk songwriting to Modern Love in Calgary on May 15, 2026. Known first as the co-singer and guitarist of Hot Water Music, he’s built a solo path that leans into acoustic grit and narrative songs, drawing from Americana, folk rock and a touch of country. His writing circles around the road, work, friendships and the small ties that keep people moving, carried by a voice that wears its miles well.

On stage, Ragan keeps it close and physical: acoustic guitar up front, harmonica within reach, steady rhythms that shift from a whisper to a driving pulse.
