Info
The Watchmen bring their melodic, lyric‑driven alt‑rock back to Ottawa on March 28, 2026 at Bronson Centre. Formed in Winnipeg in the late 1980s and later based in Toronto, the band shaped its sound around Daniel Greaves’ voice and Joey Serlin’s guitar, mixing tuneful riffs, a post‑grunge edge and writing that keeps the words at the center. On stage, the set roams their catalog: the direct punch of McLaren Furnace Room and In The Trees, the darker tones of Brand New Day, the rhythmic layers of Silent Radar, and the more fragmented approach of Slomotion. Songs like All Uncovered and Stereo still drive the room, carried by tight arrangements, guitars up front and a steady low end. After a pause in the mid‑2000s, The Watchmen have returned to live shows with a focus on revisiting and reframing a repertoire built for sturdy hooks and unvarnished rock. Stuck On Planet Earth joins as support to open the night.
