Info
On 20 November 2026 Son Mieux from The Hague will bring their orchestral-tinged pop to the Bürgerhaus Stollwerck in Cologne. Having grown up around singer-songwriter Camiel Meiresonne, the project has evolved from an indie idea into an expanded collective drawn from the local scene. On stage, guitars, strings, keyboards and a driving rhythm section meet multi-part vocal harmonies; many songs build in waves and lead into choruses carried by Meiresonne’s voice. The band weaves its indie-pop roots with disco, folk and contemporary pop influences, maintaining a balance between groove and melody.
With the albums Faire de Son Mieux (2019) and The Mustard Seed (2021), Son Mieux has established a distinctive signature that, in concert, relies on collective dynamics and dense arrangements. The lyrics revolve around the everyday and the personal, expressed clearly and accessibly. As part of the 24 Hours – EU Album Tour, the ensemble will present new material alongside familiar tracks and showcase the facets of its collective sound in a club setting.
