Info
Pohlmann stands for honest, German-language songs situated between folk, pop and acoustic rock. The Hamburg singer-songwriter, whose real name is Ingo Pohlmann, became known in the mid-2000s with the song “Wenn jetzt Sommer wär” (“If It Were Summer Now”) and the album “Zwischen Heimweh und Fernsucht” (“Between Homesickness and Wanderlust”). His pieces revolve around everyday life, relationships and doubts, carried by guitar, clear melodies and a slightly rough voice. Live he relies on pared-down arrangements: a tight band, precise grooves and plenty of space for dynamics. The set flows seamlessly between intimate ballads and livelier numbers with a subtle reggae touch.
On October 31, 2026, Pohlmann will be appearing at Music Hall Worpswede e.V. in Worpswede. The emphasis is on songwriting and storytelling: lyrics that feel immediate, choruses that stick right away, and an ensemble that carries his stories without frills.
