Since his debut Dýrð í dauðaþögn and its English version In the Silence, his songs alternate between Icelandic and English; his gentle voice sits close to the microphone, and both lyrics and melodies remain clear and pared‑down.
Live, Ásgeir relies on meticulous detail: acoustic guitar, understated keyboards, measured beats, at times almost ambient. Afterglow and the double release Bury the Moon/Sátt have broadened his sound, and Time On My Hands continues that trajectory with even more space and nuance.
