Tender - 2026

The London duo Tender, consisting of James Cullen and Dan Cobb, bring their slowed-down electronic-pop aesthetic to Munich: on 10 October 2026 at Strom, Lindwurmstraße 88, 80337 Munich. Since the mid-2010s the two have been crafting songs with soft vocals, muted synths and pared-back rhythms that draw as much from R&B as from indie pop. The lyrics revolve around relationships, emotional dependence and the fragile routines of everyday life; they are written plainly, employ repetitive motifs, and are intended for nocturnal moods.

After early self-released EPs, the albums Modern Addiction (2017) and Fear of Falling Asleep (2019) were issued on Partisan Records. The production favors gentle electronic textures and clean, uncluttered arrangements, later becoming more contrast-rich while never abandoning a core of melody and minimal groove. Live, Tender translate this aesthetic with a composed presence: intimate vocals, delicate synth layers and precise, sparse beats. Songs from the EPs and both albums form the set list; the duo represents a British generation of electronic artists who hone their tracks in the studio and circulate them through digital channels, including film and television soundtracks.
