On April 26, 2026, at Le Molotov in Marseille, two sensibilities from the Bern scene answer each other on the same stage: Reverend Beat-Man and Milan Slick. Behind that pseudonym, Beat Zeller unfolds his primitive rock’n’roll—a trashy blues fed by garage punk and gospel imagery. A true one-man band, he advances alone with a deep voice, saturated guitar and crisp beats, delivering lyrics that move between black humor, mystical visions and small shards of everyday life. His stripped-down, lo-fi and direct playing carves out songs that are as much a bruised prayer as an underground scream.

Facing him, Milan Slick brings a more synthetic, icy side: a punk rock’n’roll streaked with dark keyboards, taut basslines and tight, metronomic drum machines. With minimal melodic lines, cold tension and catchy choruses, he works the contrast between electronic pulses and rock nerve, without frills. Together they lay down a raw dialogue between electric archaism and modern darkness, two styles that brush past one another, collide and spark off each other over the course of a joint set.
