Abba Mania

Mania – The ABBA Tribute arrives at Arena Loire Trélazé, in Trélazé, on 18 September 2026. Born in the United Kingdom, this tribute act, formerly known as ABBA Mania, recreates the ABBA saga with precision: four-part harmonies, punchy keyboards, a grooving bass, shimmering guitars and that immediate disco sound. Without being a carbon copy, the band captures the energy and arrangements that defined the Swedish quartet, with a real attention to timbre and backing vocals.

On the bill are the songs that shaped generations: Waterloo, Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, Knowing Me, Knowing You, Take a Chance on Me… Seventies costumes, colourful lights and carefully staged choreography set the scene. Above all, the vocal work holds up: female voices mirroring each other, tight choruses, and the Anni-Frid/Agnetha exchanges spot on. The live show is designed for singing along with the audience, alternating pop breathers and dancefloor climaxes, and restoring these songs to their stage dimension, here and now.
