16 studio albums, completely sold out European and world tours, numerous awards, certifications and acknowledgements, Eros Ramazzotti is by far one of the most successful Italian artists, his songs have marked the history of Italian music and toured the world, with more than 80 million records sold and 3 billion global listeners to his credit. In December 2024, he announced his big live comeback in the following year: the WORLD TOUR GALA PREMIÈRE for Symphonica in Rosso with The European Pop Orchestra and a super band, scheduled for 17 and 18 October 2025 at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, a one-off show anticipating his next musical journey along five continents. Eros Ramazzotti was born on 28 October 1963 in Cinecittà, Rome. From an early age he dreamed of becoming a singer, encouraged by his father. After a failed attempt to enter the conservatoire, he abandoned his studies to dedicate himself to music. In 1981 he participated in the Voci Nuove di Castrocaro competition with Rock 80, obtaining a recording contract with DDD and moving to Milan. Success arrived in 1984 with victory among the young proposals at the Sanremo Festival with Terra promessa. In 1985 he returned to the Festival with Una storia importante, a song contained in his debut album Cuori agitati, which became a hit in France. In 1986 he won Sanremo with Adesso tu and released Nuovi eroi. This was followed by In certi momenti (1987), Musica è (1988) and In ogni senso (1990), which consolidated his international success. Clive Davis invited him to perform at New York's Radio City Music Hall, becoming the first Italian to do so with a sold-out show. In the 1990s, with albums such as Tutte storie (1993) and Dove c'è musica (1996), he achieved record sales. Cose della vita, with video clip directed by Spike Lee, became a global success. In 1996, his daughter Aurora, with Michelle Hunziker, was born. The album Eros (1997) includes duets with Tina Turner and Andrea Bocelli. In 2000, he released Stilelibero, with the duet Più che puoi with Cher. 2003 marked the release of 9, which remained at the top of the Italian charts for 14 weeks and the world tour exceeded 1 million spectators. In 2005, Calma apparente was released, containing the duet with Anastacia I Belong to You. In 2007, he released e, a collection with unreleased and new versions of his hits, obtaining 10 platinum records. He continued his career with international tours and new albums, maintaining his status as an icon of Italian and international pop music. In 2009, he released Ali e radici, an album that marked his artistic maturation and took him on a world tour again. In 2012, Noi was released, which included collaborations with international artists and became a hit in many countries. Three years later, in 2015, he released Perfetto, followed by a world tour. In 2018, Vita ce n'è was released, which debuted live in 2019 with the VITA CE N'E WORLD TOUR (over 90 shows in 32 countries around the world), which won everyone over in 14 months, although it could not end with the Los Angeles show due to the containment measures for Covid-19. In 2022 Eros celebrated 35 years of his career with the WORLD TOUR PREMIÈRE - ten exclusive previews, for a new chapter in his artistic and musical career, in five of the world's most prestigious arenas starting on 15 September 2022 from La Maestranza in Seville, then in Agrigento, Verona, Athens and Caesarea. On the WORLD TOUR PREMIÈRE Eros presented the new album Battito infinito. Released on 16 September, anticipated by the singles Ama and Sono (with Alejandro Sanz), the new album - Capitol Records Italy under license from Vertigo/Eventim Live International - is the manifesto of the renewed artistic identity of the singer-songwriter of records. This is followed by the BATTITO INFINITO WORLD TOUR, which will take Eros to the most important stages in North-Central-South America and Europe until the summer of 2023, with 10 Italian stops and more than a year of sold-out shows all over the world. In February 2024, he was the great host of the 74th edition of the Sanremo Festival on the Ariston stage to retrace together with the public 40 years of emotions and successes on the notes of Terra Promessa, a song that has now become a cult, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the its victory at the Festival.
