Info
On October 6, 2027, at Bristol Beacon, Belinda Carlisle brings her “It’s Been Heavenly” tour to the UK for a set that traces the arc of a career built on punchy hooks and that unmistakable voice. From her roots in late-’70s California punk and the new wave rush of The Go-Go’s, she moved into a sleek, radio-shaped pop rock sound in the late ’80s and early ’90s, powered by direct songwriting and choruses that stick. Expect a show that leans into that high-gloss era while leaving room for later turns, from her curiosity for different formats to her more recent return to English-language pop.
Go West joins the bill in Bristol with their signature blend of melodic pop rock and blue-eyed soul, the kind of smooth, synth-touched songwriting that defined British sophisti-pop in the ’80s. Built around the duo of Peter Cox and Richard Drummie, their set is made for the stage: bright guitars, clean groove, and big refrains that still land decades on.
