Info
On February 17, 2027, Penelope Road lands at The Mod Club in Toronto with its Atlanta-bred blend of indie rock, soul, and funk. Built around five musicians, the band leans into tight vocal work and layered harmonies, with a sound that nods to 1970s grooves while keeping the songwriting rooted in present-day pop instincts. Expect guitars and keys that stay flexible, a rhythm section that pushes the pulse forward, and arrangements designed to move as a unit rather than spotlight a single leader. With early releases arriving in the mid-2020s and a first EP in 2024, this show is a chance to catch a young catalogue coming alive on stage, where warmth, melody, and groove do most of the talking.
Arts Fishing Club joins the bill at The Mod Club in Toronto on February 17, 2027, setting the scene for a night that puts fresh songwriting and band energy front and center.
