Michel Jonasz returns to the stage with Jean-Yves D’Angelo for Season 5 - Tour, a format that goes straight to the essentials: the voice, the words and the groove. Between chanson and jazz-soul pulse, Jonasz unfolds a repertoire where the intimate meets swing, with his distinctive way of telling stories about childhood, memory, and the great and small jolts of daily life. Here you will find imagery-rich writing and the warmth of his timbre, serving songs that know how to move as much as to touch, without unnecessary effects. At his side, Jean-Yves D’Angelo, pianist and arranger whose career spans jazz, chanson and film music, brings a touch that is both precise and generous. His playing, deeply rooted in blues, opens space, drives the phrasing, and highlights melodies as well as silences.
