On November 18, 2026, beabadoobee stops by The O2 in London for The Powerlines Tour. Born in the Philippines and raised in London from a very young age, Beatrice Kristi Ilejay Laus initially forged ahead in DIY mode—guitar and vocals with lo-fi production—before opening her songwriting to a more direct indie rock, nourished by 90s guitars, slacker rock and shoegaze textures. Discovered with “Coffee,” she followed with a string of EPs on Dirty Hit, then established her pop-rock sound on Fake It Flowers, refined it on Beatopia and extended it with This Is How Tomorrow Moves. On stage, she alternates melodic hooks with rougher riffs, all delivered with the intimate attention to detail that has become her signature. In the opening act, Wisp (Natalie R. Lu) brings a moodier shoegaze/dreampop touch, but never soft: thick guitars, crisp choruses, and alt-rock tension. First spotted in 2023 with “Your Face,” she shaped her universe on the Pandora EP, before continuing with the album If Not Winter. A perfect opener to plunge the room into a wall of controlled sound, just before beabadoobee’s entrance.
