Drowning Pool, Spineshank

Drowning Pool and Spineshank land at G Live, Guildford, on 17 June 2026 for a night rooted in the heavier side of the 2000s. Formed in Dallas, Drowning Pool broke through with Sinner and the single Bodies, a calling card for their blend of thick riffs, direct hooks and a groove that sits between alternative metal and hard rock. The band has weathered several vocal changes and, since 2023, Ryan McCombs is back at the mic. Expect a set that pulls from across their catalogue, from early anthems to Strike a Nerve, with that push-pull between crunch and melody that defines their live energy.

Opposite them, Los Angeles outfit Spineshank bring an industrial-leaning take on nu metal. Known for tracks like New Disease, Synthetic and Smothered, they fuse serrated guitar work with electronics and a tight, percussive pulse. Their catalogue runs from Strictly Diesel and The Height of Callousness through Self-Destructive Pattern and Anger Denial Acceptance, a run that shaped their clipped, high-impact sound. Together, both bands line up a bill that reconnects with an era while staying sharp on stage.
