Theory of a Deadman

Canadian rock outfit Theory of a Deadman lands at O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire in London on 11 February 2027. Formed in North Delta, British Columbia in 1999, the quartet led by Tyler Connolly built its name on post-grunge roots and hard rock drive, with regular detours into alternative and pop rock, plus a few acoustic and country shades. The self-titled debut (2002) and Gasoline (2005) set the tone with direct songwriting and melodic hooks, while Scars & Souvenirs (2008) put the group on the map of major North American rock tours.

The 2010s marked a shift. The Truth Is... (2011) and Savages (2014) broadened the format, before Wake Up Call (2017), recorded with Martin Terefe, introduced a leaner pop-rock angle and a brief name shortening to Theory. Say Nothing (2020) leaned into more socially focused lyrics, then Dinosaur (2023) steered back toward a heavier sound.

On stage, the band stitches these phases together, moving from riff-led tension to sing-along choruses and stripped-back moments. A set built on two decades of songs, played by a group that evolves without dropping its core identity.
