Éric Lapointe

Montreal-born rocker Éric Lapointe brings his francophone sound to Le Club Dix30 in Brossard on May 3, 2026. Between hard-edged riffs and slow-burning ballads, he has built a catalog where electric guitars carry direct, unvarnished lyrics about love, excess and fragility. After years cutting his teeth in bars across Quebec, he broke through in the mid‑90s with Obsession (1994), his raspy voice becoming a signature. Invitez les vautours (1996) and À l’ombre de l’ange (1999) confirmed his place on the scene, while Coupable (2004) and Ma peau (2007) opened a more introspective chapter.

On stage, Lapointe has toured widely in Quebec, played major festivals and worked with songwriters and musicians from the francophone world. His role as a coach on La Voix in the 2010s introduced him to a new audience and kept him in constant dialogue with emerging artists.
