Sara Dufour - Nouveau spectacle

Sara Dufour brings a new show to MTELUS in Montréal on March 19, 2027. A songwriter from Dolbeau-Mistassini, she writes in French with a lively, spoken feel, weaving folk, country, rock and a touch of blues. Her songs are narrative and direct, carried by taut guitars, unfussy hooks and a delivery that keeps a bit of grit. Dépanneur Pierrette (2016) set her path; On va-tu prendre une marche? (2023) pushed that rootsy approach toward a broader sound without losing the plainspoken edge.

On stage, Dufour treats the concert like a collective moment. The band’s pulse drives the set while her voice and lyrics anchor stories drawn from everyday scenes, regional imagery and the open road.
