Jeanne Cherhal

Jeanne Cherhal returns to the stage on 27 March 2026 at the Cité des Congrès in Nantes. A songwriter, composer, singer, bassist and pianist, she has built her career between the albums Douze fois par an, Histoire de J. and L’an 40, with a clear, direct style of writing. We accompany her at the piano, sometimes on bass, in narrative songs where portraits, memories and everyday snapshots intersect, carried by crisp melodies and a sense of rhythm that moves forward without detour. She presents a new album produced by Benjamin Biolay, with arrangements that broaden the sonic space without abandoning the centre of gravity that defines her: the voice, the keyboard and a close attention to the lyrics. The concert charts a path through her repertoire, between revisited pieces and recent songs, in a compact format that allows the words and the playing to breathe.
