Grey Daze

Grey Daze was born in the mid-1990s in Phoenix around Chester Bennington, then a very young singer whose abrasive yet vulnerable voice immediately gave the band a distinctive identity. Their emotionally raw alternative rock unfolded across two founding albums, Wake Me and No Sun Today, where one already senses the intensity that would later mark Bennington’s career. After their split in 1998, Grey Daze found a second life when the remaining members set out to re-record their repertoire using Chester’s archival vocals, resulting in two deeply personal projects. Amends unveils those reimagined tracks in a modern production that highlights the singer’s expressive power, while The Phoenix continues that work of transmission and tribute with a more raging and luminous energy.
