Originally from Benin and based in the United States, AMÉMÉ emerged around the turn of the 2020s on the international electronic music circuit with a sound that sits between afro house, deep house and more airy melodic textures. As a DJ and producer, AMÉMÉ crafts tracks built on percussion, vocals and slow-moving progressions, arranged with the club in mind. His trajectory includes singles, EPs and dates at clubs and festivals across North America and Europe, while his One Tribe project extends this approach through events and later a label.
