Ati242
Born in 1997 in Immenstadt im Allgäu as Atilla Serin, Ati242 grew up between Germany and Turkey before settling in Antalya, his family's hometown — an anchor that informs both his stage name and his music. He emerged in the late 2010s on the Turkish rap scene with a sound shaped by German rap: tense writing, tight flows and often trap-oriented productions, while not limiting himself to a single format. After a stint on PMC, the label of rapper Patron, which he left in 2021, Ati242 quickly developed a dense discography: the EPs Junkie Flow (2019), Ghetto Star (2020) and Natural Born Diggas (2022), and the albums Dipsomania (2021) and Manifesto (2024). His career also features collaborations with artists such as Patron, Zen-G, Şehinşah, Sagopa Kajmer, Blok3 and Mero, placing him at the crossroads of several strands of contemporary Turkish rap. Following a break in 2023 related to mental health issues, Ati242 returned in 2024 with the single Kaptan and continued at a steady pace. In 2025, Uykusuz Geceler with Mero gave him broader visibility in Germany and Austria.
